Player Analysis
How Player Analysis Works
What you're looking at
Pick a position, a player, an opponent (or Any Team for their whole schedule), a stat, Over/Under, a threshold, and the seasons to include. The page shows how often the player's actual games beat your line, how every standard line would have graded, and the full game-by-game history. Seasons 2021–2025 are loaded; regular season and playoffs both count.
Positions and stats
The Position menu gates the stat list: QB gets passing stats plus rushing yards, RB gets rushing plus receiving stats, WR and TE get receiving stats (WRs also rushing yards for sweep work). RB includes fullbacks. Players appear in the dropdown once they've logged real usage — a pass attempt for QBs, a carry or target for everyone else.
Player Search skips the position step entirely: type a couple of letters and every matching QB, RB, WR, or TE appears with a position badge. Picking one loads their analysis and switches the position automatically, keeping your opponent, direction, and season choices.
Hit rate
Over counts games where the stat finished strictly above your threshold; Under counts games strictly below it. A game landing exactly on a whole-number threshold (a push) counts for neither side. A game the player appeared in with no recorded stat counts as a real zero.
Target distribution (QBs only)
For quarterbacks with a passing stat selected, a table built from real play-by-play data shows every receiver they targeted in the selected seasons (and against the selected defense, if one is chosen) — targets, catch rate, yards, yards per target, and receiving TDs. Sacks and throwaways have no target and are excluded.
Threshold ladder
Each card is a standard line for the chosen stat, showing the Over% (green) and Under% (red) across the selected games, with the raw over/under/total counts underneath. Use it to spot where the player's distribution actually sits before anchoring on one line.
Historical matchups
Every qualifying game, newest first, with columns tailored to the position. Rows that hit your chosen side are tinted green, and the selected stat's column is colored hit/miss per game.
